At 5:20pm this afternoon, station 52 was dispatched to the 100 block of Bavington Rd for a report of a dwelling fire. Upon arrival, Deputy 52 found fire to the rear of the building under a deck and requested the working fire dispatch. Crews were able to make a quick stop to the fire with minimal damage to the property. Assisting us today were Upper Salford Volunteer Fire Company, Perkiomen Township Fire Company, Upper Frederick Fire Company, and Skippack Fire Company.
