| On the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Station 52 participated in two events commemorating the tragic events that occurred 25 years ago.
On Friday morning, Ladder 52, along with Harleysville Community Fire Company's Ladder 89, provided a ladder arch and displayed the American flag for a 9/11 remembrance ceremony. The event was hosted by Pennsylvania State Representative Donna Scheuren at Station 89. Company 52 joined neighboring emergency services and various community organizations in honoring those affected by the events of September 11th. Thank you to Rep. Scheuren for hosting this event, and Station 89 for the hospitality. We were honored to participate.
That evening, Engine 52 partnered with Upper Salford Fire Company for a 9/11 remembrance walk around Upper Salford Township Park. The walk began with a remembrance speech and prayer, and concluded with participants gathering around the American flag. |
